Bio: Jacob Velazquez (Jake) is a 16 year old multi-instrumentalist, producer & songwriter from South Florida. He was a contestant on America’s Got Talent and has performed on Good Morning America, The View, CNN, The Steve Harvey Show and in concert with Harry Connick Jr.
He has been playing music since he was 3 years old and currently plays Guitar, Piano, Drums, Saxophone, Cello, Bass, Harmonica, Ukulele & kEyTaR!
Jake was diagnosed with a form of autism called PDDNOS (Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified). But this hasn't stopped him from pursuing his passion!
Jake is a Board Member at the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism and recently directed the STARS of the Spectrum musical performances' at: the Sunscreen Film Festival, The Music Compound, Boston Marathon FANFEST and a performance at Converse World Headquarters.
He currently serves as Music Director for Potential Youth of Potential Church, and has an act with his sister (who also has autism) called The Jake n' Sky Show. Together, they have traveled across the country helping raise funds, awareness and acceptance for families touched by autism.
